I was reading the New York Times today about Home & Garden and accidentally found out about  Mossin’ Annie — everyone calls her that.
She lives in North Carolina  and cultivates   moss,  Interesting is Two of the moss pioneers reside in North Carolina: Ms. Martin, 61, near Asheville, and David Spain, 48, in
Raleigh is almost close to my house, but I’ve never had an opportunity to visit.   But my sister is coming to visit  this weekend, and we’re planning to discover the secret of moss gardening.

Cultivating moss is a practice mastered by just a handful of gardeners. Annie Martin, better known as Mossin’ Annie, is one of them. Like most moss specialists, Ms. Martin, who lives in Asheville, N.C., is self-taught. “Horticulturists still consider moss a weed, pretty much,” she said.

I also have been using moss on my soaps, but the sea moss for a long time. Sea moss is for sensitive skin.
